Kuwait – Saturday, 6 June 2026

In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation and gratitude, Orion Group for Artistic and Theatrical Production dedicated a full show of its theatrical production Waterland to the families and relatives of Kuwait’s frontliners heroes, in recognition of their national service and contributions to the country.

The special show, held on Friday evening at the Kuwait Sports Club Aquatic Complex in Kaifan, welcomed 800 guests, with all seats reserved exclusively for the families, children, and relatives of frontliners personnel from the healthcare, security, and supporting sectors who have played vital roles in serving and protecting the community.

On this occasion, the show’s director, Mohammad Hussein Al-Musallam, said: “Through this initiative, we aim to bring joy and happiness to the families of our heroes and invite them to experience Waterland, the first water-based theatrical production in the Arab world. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and gratitude for those who have served the nation with dedication and sincerity. It is the least we can offer in recognition of their invaluable contributions.”

Orion Group emphasized that this initiative forms part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, reflecting the important role that arts and entertainment can play in promoting appreciation, unity, and national pride.

Guests expressed their appreciation for the initiative, noting that the gesture carries a meaningful message of gratitude toward frontliners heroes and their families while strengthening the spirit of solidarity and community that characterizes Kuwaiti society.

Waterland is a purpose-driven, family-oriented production that combines live acting, aerial acrobatics, dynamic water performances, and advanced visual effects within an immersive theatrical setting. The production transforms the Olympic pool into a spectacular stage experience enhanced by synchronized lighting systems, immersive sound technologies, illuminated waterfalls, and a large-scale water curtain.

The production marks a major milestone for Kuwait’s entertainment sector, positioning the country as the home of the Arab world’s first large-scale water theater production.
